Pre-paid Funerals are NOT a good idea!

Say "NO" to pre-paid funerals and why you should consider a "Final Expense" policy instead! With a pre-paid funeral, there will always be potential for or fear of someone embezzling your funds, the funeral home is the beneficiary of the policy (not your family), there is always the chance that some services will not be covered, what if your plans change and now you wish to be buried at another location. The BEST choice is a "Final Expense" whole life insurance policy that will settle all the above concerns and pay directly to whomever YOU choose as a beneficiary. The CONTROL remains with YOU, not a funeral home or funeral director. Call Matt Skiba today at 734-395-5425 or 989-941-6808.

Life Insurance "A Legacy of Love"

Watch and listen to this video message, it should cause you to reflect on the inevitable...your death and your family.  Every responsible person should be asking themselves if they have the "RIGHT" type of life insurance and the "RIGHT SIZE" amount of DEATH BENEFIT should they die before retirement.  At the very least this video should confirm how important your choice is as a "Responsible Individual or Family Person", and you should know the importance too of working closely with a professional and sincere agent. You have found that agent with Matt Skiba. I hope that you all take the 2.01 minutes to see and hear this powerful message.

When is the last time you have had your "Life Insurance" policy reviewed? Are you aware that in 2009, the mortality tables were changed due to fact that men and women are living longer lives? I review existing life insurance policies on a regular basis. How long have you had your policy? Have your goals changed? Has your family size changed? Has your income changed? Do you love your family enough to do what is right today, so that they can be better protected in the future?

Life Insurance: no longer just a death benefit

Life Insurance: no longer just a death benefit.  NEW POLICIES from very well established companies have revolutionized the industry with hybrid policies.  These hybrid policies HAVE EXCEPTIONAL LIVING BENEFITS, a mixture of Long-Term Care and a Death Benefit.  Stand alone Long-Term Care policies still have their place in our society, however if you have such a policy you may be paying too much for limited care with NO PROMISE you will ever recoup your investment.   Living longer is not always synonymous with living better.  The facts show that: 70% of people over age 65 will need some form of Long-Term Care with the average length of care when needed over 1 year is care needed for 3.9 years.  Compare what you MAY have with your current Life Insurance Policy to what you MAY be missing.  If you have both a current life insurance policy AND a long-term care policy...what are your premiums compared to your benefits AND think of the money lost if you are in that 30% group that will never have a need for long-term care.  As smart investors and shoppers, we have compared products for investment and purchase every day of our lives, why stop with the MOST IMPORTANT product...your life?

Just because you have a retirement account, should not mean you can afford to stop investing or investigating new opportunities.

Many people share with me the following saying that they "have a financial advisor", or another "I have a trust set up already".  While both of these statements by themselves can be true, they are not "FINANCIALLY WISE" summaries, just as "I have a ___?____ so I don't need another" is equally blind of advances within the ____?_____  (whatever category you chose) industry.

I can offer new life to your retirement.

Give me a call to schedule your opportunity @ 734-395-5425.

The excerpt below is taken in part from:

Global Gloom About Retirement Prospects
Taken as a whole, the world is pretty darn gloomy about retirement prospects.

Over half of respondents (53 percent) expect future generations of retirees to be worse off than those currently in retirement; 34 percent of employees are pessimistic about have enough money to live on in retirement; just 19 percent of employees are confident they’ll be able to retire with a lifestyle they consider to be comfortable and only 16 percent of current employees expect to be better off in retirement than current retirees.

“Ladies, It’s Time to Talk Finances

“Saw this deal and thought of you.”

As a man, I can appreciate when my friends tell me about a great restaurant they’ve just ate at and that I’ve got to try, or when the next car show is.  It means someone I know saw something that made them think of me, and they thought enough of me to tell me about it, that’s what friends do…right?

Did you know that 92% of women are likely to pass along a good deal to other women too?  See, we are not so different and definitely not from Mars.   That statistic did get me to wonder.  Do women talk about finances with their friends?  Do women share things like “I made a plan for my financial future, and I thought of you!” Do your friends feel you have it all together and therefore don’t need financial advice?  Is it because they don’t want to seem nosey or overbearing?  Or, are they really from Venus?

Or is it just because women don’t like to talk about this kind of stuff?

The reality is that women DO need to think about their financial futures. When you consider that women are statically more likely to outlive their husbands, and the sad statistic that 50% of all marriages end in divorce, and that it is usually the daughters that serve as caregivers to aging parents, the sense of urgency should send women in droves to financial professionals like me!

So ladies, think about where you are with your finances, where your parents are with their long term care solutions.  Could you use some assistance?  Do you have it all together and have advice for others?  Will you be that friend that will experience the help of financial professional “Matt Skiba” and then share your experience with others?  The average woman has 171 contacts in her email and mobile lists.   Reach out!  Tell your friends and family that you care.

Contact Matt Skiba today.  I look forward to hearing from you soon.
